When you transfer stock between your stores, there is a period where items have left the sending store but have not yet been received by the destination store. During this time, the stock is "in transit". Having clear visibility of stock in transit means you can account for every item, even while it's between stores, and be confident that a transfer has been received when expected.
The Stock In Transit report gives you this visibility. This article covers the two ways to access it.
Checking stock in transit for a specific item from the Point of Sale or Back Office
If you want to check the stock in transit for a particular item — for example, while serving a customer at the register — you can get to the report directly from the item's stock detail.
1) From the item search on the Point of Sale screen or in the Back Office, click the Free Stock figure for the item in question:

2) The stock enquiry panel will open. Click the Stock in transit between stores figure in the bottom left to open the Cloud Report.

3) The report will be pre-filtered for the selected item, so you can see exactly which transfer(s) the stock is on:

Running the full report from Cloud Reports
To see everything that is currently in transit across your store(s), you can run the full report from Cloud Reports.
1) From the main Cloud Reports dashboard, select Stock In Transit, which you'll find listed under the Cloud POS - Inventory Reports section:

2) The report will show all open transfers – that is, transfers which have been placed by the sending store but are yet to be received by the receiving store:

Tracking down a specific item
You can filter the report to show a certain store, or a specific Item Lookup Code, to track down a particular item quickly.
