You can view all prices set against an item quickly, from several places in the system.
In the main Items search in the Back Office, click on the price for the item (highlighted in blue):

A new window will open to display all the prices applied to that item:

You can also open this window from the Actions menu in the Items grid – click the three-dots button on the left of the item, or right-click anywhere on the row, and select View Item Prices. Note that this option is not available for Matrix Parent, Kit or Assembly items.
From here, you can check the item Cost Price, see whether your selling price is different to the MSRP, as well as look at your Web, Ebay and Amazon prices, plus all Price Levels if set.
To see this information in Point of Sale, click the Sub Total figure on the Item line, or click the downward arrow to the left of the Item Lookup Code, then View All Item Prices, and you'll see the same window as above:

If an item has been discounted, e.g. if it uses the Sale Price or any price that's lower than the MSRP, that saving will be shown on the customer's receipt:
