This article describes how you can change a transaction type in the Point of Sale.
1) Recall the order or quote you wish to convert. For further guidance on recalling orders or quotes, see the related articles.
2) Click the Change Transaction Type button in the transaction summary panel:
Alternatively, you can use the options under the Customer Orders menu to set a new transaction type.
You can change transaction types on recalled orders as follows:
- Quotes can be converted to Special Orders, Workshop Jobs and Layaways.
- Special Orders can be converted to Workshop Jobs.
- Layaways can be converted to Special Orders or Workshop Jobs.
Workshop Jobs cannot be converted to other transaction types.
