Cloud POS 2.0 Launch

We're very excited to announce the launch of Cloud POS 2.0! This significant update comes after a successful Beta testing phase, incorporating valuable feedback to enhance your POS experience.

In the POS, you can now find a link to POS 2.0 for you to start enjoying the benefits of the new UI.

In response to Beta testing feedback, we've implemented several improvements and bug fixes to elevate your user experience:

New Feature Developments

• The Workshop job status is now visible in the transaction summary.
• We've added keyboard shortcuts for user switching and customer rewards search.
• We've added of a tender type filter on the tender screen, allowing you to quickly find tenders.

UI/UX Improvements

• We've consolidated transaction discount options into a single action panel for streamlined navigation.
• The order deposit field is now shown by default in the order summary for new orders.
• We've enhanced the line discount layout for improved clarity.
• The filters for the order grid, search results within grid search panels and if the navigation is pinned are now retained when navigating around the POS.
• Clearer indication when a customer is set.
• We've made layout improvements to minimise the need for scrolling on smaller devices. 
• The contrast of fields in action panels has been improved.
• The wording for item stock filtering within the item search grid has been improved.
• We've significantly improved the speed of recalling an order. 
• The customer record will now save when clicking out of the customer edit view to amend delivery addresses or view open orders for the customer. 
• There is now a clearer indication when a bin location is not set against an item in the stock enquiry view.
• We've made styling improvements to make the stock notification warnings clearer.
• Currency number inputs are now formatted correctly depending on locale.
• We've improved the alignment of columns on transaction lines.

Bug Fixes

• We've resolved an issue where the action panel cut off the screen when the navigation was pinned.
• An issue where Grid filters lost focus during searches has been fixed.

Backoffice

New Feature Developments

• We've added a new tender type: "Other Voucher". This can be used for tenders such as Cycle to Work vouchers, allowing you to further organise your tenders & to filter tenders within the Cloud POS 2.0 tender screen.

Bug Fixes

• An issue where the size of the description field on the item page had been reduced due to new elements has been fixed, this has been improved for usability on smaller screens.
• We've improved error handling for e-commerce order downloads.
