    Cloud MT // How do I restrict Click And Collect orders to local stock only?

    If you have a multi-store Cloud POS group and you are running a Citrus-Lime e-commerce site where Click & Collect is available, you can dictate whether stock is available for collection, depending on the location of the stock.

    For example, let's say your Cloud POS group contains Store A and Store B. You may want to restrict Click & Collect so that items which are only in stock at Store A cannot be ordered for collection at Store B, and vice versa.  This removes the need to physically transfer stock between stores in order to fulfil Click & Collect orders.

    A scenario:

    • Item in local stock at Store A, but out of stock at Store B - Item only available for collection from Store A;
    • Item out of stock at Store A, but in local stock at Store B - Item only available for collection from Store B;
    • Item in local stock at Store A and Store B - Item available for collection from Store A and Store B.

    This is a global setting and is controlled within Cloud MT. It can be found from the main menu, by navigating to Site Management then General Fields.

    Scroll down the page to the section entitled Click & Collect. Here you will see two tick boxes.

    With Block All Remote Locations selected, stock is only available to collect from a store if that store already has the stock available. No stock will be available for transfer from other stores and no SIM stock will be available for Click & Collect.

    On the right of the screen, there is a tick box available to Block SIM Warehouses. With this option selected, you are permitting inter-store transfer of stock within your business, but you are preventing SIM stock from being available for Click & Collect.

    Note that you cannot select both options at once. You can either choose to block all remote stock locations for Click & Collect (i.e. other store stock and SIM stock), or block just the SIM stock.
