The Citrus-Lime e-commerce platform will store a customer's basket for a period of 30 days.
Therefore, a customer can create a basket on your e-commerce site and, if they do not check out at that point in time but return on the same cookie (effectively the same device and browser), or via a basket abandonment email, the items in their basket will still be present for the next 30 days.
This means that the returning customer does not need to go through the process of rebuilding their basket, if they visit the site again within that timeframe.
Saved baskets are deleted at 03:00hrs after the 30 day period has passed.
