eCommerce // What's in the September 2024 update?

We are updating Citrus-Lime eCommerce and Cloud MT. Here are the details of what's included in this release:

    Citrus-Lime eCommerce

    Improvements

    • The wording on the CitrusPay Gateway payment button at checkout has been updated from "Place Order" to "Enter Card Details", providing clearer guidance for the next step in the payment process.
    • The Mailchimp integration has been upgraded to the latest version, ensuring that customer country information now uploads correctly.
    • Earlier this year, we enhanced sites to improve image loading and resizing, making the previous image resizer obsolete. In this release, we have removed it to optimise site performance further ahead of the busy trading period. Please note: while we have made proactive adjustments, some site images may still require design tweaks following this update. If you notice any issues, please report them to the Support Team, and we’ll be ready to address them swiftly.
    • Alt tags have been added to main and thumbnail product images, improving SEO performance. Additionally, because the image format has changed, images will now support the original aspect ratio and will not be forced as a square, this will reduce the amount of white padding on all images but will ultimately lead to a better presentation.
    • Background tasks have been migrated to the latest code version, enhancing logging, stability, and future maintainability.

    Bug Fixes

    • CitrusPay Gateway transactions will now correctly log the Add_Payment_Info event, ensuring successful transactions are no longer incorrectly marked as abandoned.
    • An error that occurred when viewing historic orders paid with no longer supported payment methods has been resolved.
    • Configuration errors have been reviewed to prevent the logging of unnecessary errors.

    Cloud MT

    Improvements

    • AutoSIM background checks have been prevented for unsupported verticals to avoid unnecessary errors.
