The Omnisend integration enables you to create customer segments, based on the attributes of the products they have purchased.
Example outcome
Segment goal: Contacts who placed an order at least once in the last 7 days where the order contained Boot Bag (Bags and Cases) AND Colour: Red.
Step‑by‑step
Open Segments
In Omnisend, go to Audience → Segments and click Create segment.

Select Create from scratch

On the Segments page, select Add filter and select the Placed order event

Base activity rule
The first line will look like this for all contacts who have placed at least 1 order in the last 7 days.

You can change the filter criteria to refine the results.
have → Placed order
at least → 1 (or your number)
time → in the last 7 days (adjust as needed)
Add the first product category facet
If you are satisfied with the first line, click in the second line to add another rule

A where clause will be added to the second line when you do this.

In the property picker, drill down and select Title
Choose your category value, e.g., Boot Bag (Bags And Cases).

Keep the operator as is (equals).
Stack another facet with AND
Click into the next line to add a second condition on the same level.
Again choose Title
Select the second facet, e.g., Colour: Red.

Ensure the join between the two lines reads and (AND logic). You can use or if you want the OR logic.
Preview
Click Save & show contacts to preview the people currently matching the rules.

Name & save
Give the segment a clear name (e.g., Boot Bag – Colour: Red – last 7 days) and click Save. The segment updates automatically as new orders meet the criteria.
Tips
You can use Omnisend's powerful AI to generate segments based on your prompts.

Next steps
Use this segment to send a follow‑up campaign (e.g., care tips for Boots in Red).
